Rendell urges Hatters to cut out defensive errors

Striker Scott Rendell has urged his side to cut out the mistakes if they are to have any hope of making the play-offs this season, writes Mike Simmonds

Town slumped to their 11th and 12th defeats of the campaign after individual errors cost them against Mansfield and Braintree last week.

Rendell said: “What can you say? We can’t work any harder than we are on the problems.

“We know where we’re going wrong, but it’s happening every week.

“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves though. We’ve got to build ourselves back up, dust ourselves down and start getting the results we know we can.”
