Gray wins FA Cup award
Hatters: The FA have named Town striker Andre Gray as the Budweiser Player of the Round for his scintillating performance in Luton’s 2-0 win at Cambridge United in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Gray scored the first and created the other in the game and received 41 per cent of the public vote as he finished ahead of Mansfield’s Jake Speight, Barrow’s Danny Hurst, Hereford’s Ryan Bowman and Hastings’ Lee Carey.
He will receive a commemorative Player of the Round trophy and he will be invited to this season’s FA Cup final at Wembley.
