Still happy to let Wall stay with Darts

Town striker Alex Wall will remain at Skrill Premier rivals Dartford for another month after his loan was extended on Monday, writes Mike Simmonds.

The forward scored his first goals for the club with a well-taken brace during Tuesday night’s 5-1 hammering of Woking, while also setting up the third too.

Hatters boss John Still said: “That was always our intention. We can call him back after the first month at any time, and it would be nice that with 10 to a dozen games to go, we had everyone back here really fit because they had enough games.

“Then they’re not going to come into a team, if they do come in, where they need two or three games to get themselves properly fit.”

Still also confirmed that the likes of striker Jon Shaw could be sent out on loan for match practice, adding: “By the end of the month, we may have one or two others going out for that reason.

“That’s something that we’ll revisit in the next week or two.”
