Have your say: Company appeals council's refusal of 375 homes in Wixams

It looks like Boyer Planning has not given up on its dream for nearly 375 homes on land at Bedford Road.
Back in February, the proposal for Wixams was thrown out by councillors.
As well as the 375 homes – including affordable housing – Boyer had hoped the development would include a nursery and sports pavilion.
The planning consultants are now appealing against the refusal with a hearing date set for December 1 – and you can have your say.
Here’s what you need to know
The appeal is for ref: 26/00040/REF (and the appeal ref is: 24/02463/MAO)
The hearing will be held in the council chamber, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street
It starts on Tuesday, December 1 at 10am
The inspectorate reference is: 6010279
Any interested parties may attend and, at the inspector’s discretion, give their views. You will need to inform the inspector on the day of the hearing that you want to speak. Contact [email protected] if you want to register as a participant.
Before you decide to take part
You must think carefully about the points you want to make. All written submissions from application and appeal stage will be taken into account by the inspector and re-stating the same points won’t add any additional weight to them.
When sending a request to register as a participant, make it clear whether you want only to appear and make a statement, or whether you want to ask questions on particular topics.
