LOAN WATCH: O’Donnell helps Heed into play-off berth

Midfielder JJ O’Donnell featured for Gateshead as they moved into a Skrill Premier play-off place by defeating Kidderminster Harriers 3-1 at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

O’Donnell played 73 minutes before being replaced as the Heed moved up to fourth spot.

Lathaniel Rowe-Turner saw Alfreton’s match at home to Hyde called off, while both Jim Stevenson and Alex Wall were ineligible for Dartford’s postponed match with Luton.

Shaun Whalley turned in a MOM display as AFC Telford defeated Guiseley 4-2 at home, the winger scoring his first for the club on 78 minutes.

Midfielder Charlie Smith played the full game as Hitchin Town won 2-1 at Chesham United in the Calor Southern League Premier Division.

Meanwhile, striker Jake Woolley came off the bench just after the hour mark to score for St Neots in their 3-1 home win over Banbury United in the same division.
