Winger Jake Howells is targeting another stunning run in the FA Cup this season, writes Mike Simmonds.

Hatters made history last campaign by becoming the first non-league side to beat a Premier League team when they won 1-0 at Norwich City.

They were knocked out by Millwall in the last 16, and ahead of their first round tie at Welling today, Howells said: “That would be nice, that would be very nice, you never know what happens.

“Anyone you play is going to be difficult. This league, the league below, the league above, it’s going to be a difficult game.

“You go out there and we’ll treat it like any other game, and if we get the win, we get the win.

“That’s what we plan to do and hopefully we’ll do that.”

After being dropped from the squad for the 4-3 success at Tamworth, Howells has started the last two games and is out to keep his place now.
