Dan Gleeson: 6.5 – Exposed at times by Rowe but grew in stature as the night wore on.

Greg Taylor: 7 – Looked sound defensively and offered an outlet going forward.

George Pilkington: 7 – Captain’s display and didn’t miss a tackle.

Alex Lawless: 6.5 – Used to a three-man midfield, the Welshman dropped too deep at times, but didn’t let anyone down.

Danny Crow: 7.5 – A tireless display and deserved a goal for his efforts.

Stuart Fleetwood: 6 – Had little service and struggled to make his mark on Stockport’s defence.

Jake Howells: 6.5 – Covered every blade of grass, but wasn’t as influential as of late.

James Dance: 6.5 – Got some joy on the right flank during the first half and was unlucky to be substituted.

Adam Watkins: 7 – Quiet first half, but his tricks made the difference in the second.

Janos Kovacs: 7 – Stabbed against a post, was a rock at the back, but his distribution could have been better.

Aaron O’Connor (sub): 7 – Confidently-struck penalty and his pace made a difference.

Robbie Willmott (sub): 6 – A couple of sights of goal, but couldn’t find the net.
