Hatters rated v Millwall

Mark Tyler: 6 – No real chance with the first two goals, pulled off one great save to deny Keogh but should have held on to the original effort for the third.

Greg Taylor: 6 – Switched to his less-favoured right-back berth and put in a decent showing.

Janos Kovacs: 5.5 – Mistake led to the first goal and could have prevented the cross for the second, but went close at the other end.

Alex Lawless: 7.5 – By far Town’s most composed player, plenty of energy and played the most telling passes.

Scott Rendell: 6.5 – Surprise inclusion ahead of Shaw, won some good flick-ons and held the ball up well, but no real opportunities.

Jake Howells: 6.5 – Welsh U21 international put in some testing set-pieces and put in a solid showing at left-back.

Arnaud Mendy: 6 – Much more effective showing in the middle than on Tuesday night, but could have got his foot in ever more.

JJ O’Donnell: 6.5 – Darting runs forward caused the Lions concern, but was lacking the final ball.

Jonathan Smith: 6.5 – Yet again covered every played of grass and also played some penetrating passes.

Ronnie Henry: 6.5 – Shifted to centre-half and didn’t look out of place, but couldn’t stop ruthless Millwall from scoring victory.

Andre Gray: 7 – Was a constant thorn in Millwall’s side but found Forde in tip top form.
