Gray signs new deal with Hatters

Hatters striker Andre Gray has committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension until the summer of 2015.

The 21-year-old’s deal was due to run out in 2014 and has been in stunning form lately, with eight goals in his last 10 games as he was believed to be interesting a host of clubs including Championship side Millwall.

Since joining from Hinckley United in March last season, the Wolverhampton-born front-man has hit 18 goals in 44 games, including making history with four in his first four.

Town boss Paul Buckle told the club’s official website: “Andre been tremendous for us this season and has played a major part in our successes so far.

“He is an integral part of what we’re striving to achieve here, as he has shown already this season in their performances.”
