Town utility player Andy Parry has set his sights on winning a place back in the Hatters side after returning to full fitness, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 22-year-old suffered a hernia injury before Christmas, which saw him miss a large chunk of the season.

Parry was back on the pitch as a substitute at Cambridge last week and came off the bench again in the 1-0 defeat to Woking on Monday night.

He said: “I was disappointed after the injury as it took such a while to get back.

“Hopefully I’m over that now and I just need match fitness now along with sharpening up, so the game time I’ve been getting will improve that.”

With the likes of Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu and Cameron McGeehan impressing since arriving at Kenilworth Road, Parry had no qualms about waiting his turn.
