Fleetwood hopes to improve Town’s mediocre midweek record

STRIKER Stuart Fleetwood is hopeful that Town can end their woeful evening record when they travel to Kidderminster Harriers tonight, writes Mike Simmonds.

Last season, Hatters picked up just four wins from midweek kick offs, with 10 draws and six defeats, maing it 22 points gleaned from a possible 60.

After tonight’s fixture at Aggborough, Town also travel to Hyde on Friday night, and Fleetwood said: “I think the stats came through that we hadn’t won in 19 Tuesday night games or something like that.

“Our away form wasn’t great last season, too many draws from our point of view.

“Kidderminster are a strong side, they were last season and we know they will be this season. So we’ll be going down there, as we do every game, to try and get the win.”
