Ex-Hatters skipper Pilkington signs for Macclesfield ahead of Luton clash

Former Luton Town captain George Pilkington has signed on loan for Macclesfield Town ahead of Tuesday’s visit of the Hatters.

He has joined the Silkmen on a month’s loan from League Two Mansfield Town.

The 32-year-old centre-half scored 12 goals in 172 games for the Hatters after joining from Port Vale and has well over 400 senior appearances to his name.
