Buckle explains backroom staff change

Hatters chief Paul Buckle is hoping new coach Stuart Cash will helping to bring a ‘freshness’ to his coaching staff.

The former Aldershot and Wycombe Wanderers defender and ex AFC Wimbledon assistant manager was unveiled last week, with first team coach Paul Carden would be leaving the club.

Buckle asserted that it had all been done amicably, saying: “Paul’s contract was up in a few month’s time and it wasn’t going to be renewed.

“Stuart’s someone who was available and I wanted to bring him in.

“I think a freshness, a new face, a new voice, new ideas and a really good knowledge of this level.”
