County’s women’s section looking good
Bedfordshire women and girls recently started their preparation for the 2013 season with an open trial at Bedford College.
Over 20 women cricketers expressed an interest in attending the session and Will Sneath, Cricket Development Officer at Bedfordshire Cricket Ltd, said: “The numbers and standard of players is very pleasing, which is encouraging for the 2013 season.
“We look forward to arranging a fixture programme knowing that we have a great pool of players available.
“We hope to achieve a similar level of interest from the forthcoming girls’ trial.”
