Universal Studios Bedford: Road closure extended by 7 weeks as construction continues
A planned 10-week road closure for Universal building work has been extended by another seven weeks.
Manor Road closed at the end of July and was due to reopen on October 5. But it will now stay shut until Friday, November 27.

Universal says it's down to ongoing ‘site stabilisation and enabling works’.
Rail services at Kempston Hardwick station remain unaffected. Access to the station will be from the western end of Manor Road from the Woburn Road junction, with vehicles able to drive to the hard closure point to drop off or pick up passengers.
But a diversion will be in place for motorists.
The road is expected to reopen on Saturday, November 28 with traffic management in place for around three months over the winter – before another road closure starts.
In a letter to residents, Universal said: “We remain committed to being a good neighbour and will continue to update our local community as our activity progresses.”
