No stopping rule to be brought in to stop "indiscriminate parking" outside Houghton Conquest lower school

New restrictions are being introduced to stop drivers from parking outside Houghton Conquest Lower School.
Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) is planning on bringing in the no stopping rules on the High Street.
In a public notice on our online portal, CBC said: “The proposed restrictions aim to address ongoing issues with indiscriminate parking near Houghton Conquest Lower School.”
The no stopping rule would apply Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm on the following lengths of road in Houghton Conquest:
High Street, south side, from a point approx 2 metres southwest of the shared property boundary between No 14 High Street and Houghton Conquest Lower and extending northeast for a distance of approx 31.5 metres
