Part of iconic Wrest Park closed for filming

Part of an iconic Bedfordshire tourist attraction is closed for filming this week.

Wrest Park House, a 19th-century mansion located within the grounds of Wrest Park in Silsoe, is shut from September 14 to 17.

Wrest Park apologised for any inconvenience to visitors but confirmed that its gardens were open as normal.

“We know that a house closure can be disappointing, particularly for those planning a visit, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause,” a statement said.

“The gardens and wider estate will remain open as usual, so you can still enjoy Wrest Park during your visit.

“Filming provides valuable income that directly supports the conservation and care of Wrest Park, helping us to protect this special place for future generations.”

Wrest Park has been approached for further comment.
