Drop-in Pfizer vaccines offered in Bedford town centre
You can get a jab at the Harpur Suite
This Saturday (June 26), anyone over 18 in Bedford can get a Pfizer vaccination at the Harpur Suite, without the need to book an appointment or show ID.
The service is being offered between 11am and 4pm - and clinicians will be on hand to help answer any questions you may have about vaccinations.
Saturday’s drop-in is in addition to the other drop-ins at King's House (Pfizer) and Bedford Heights (both Pfizer and AstraZeneca).
They all offer both the first and second COVID-19 vaccines. Second doses can now be given eight weeks after the first dose, rather than 12 weeks.
Cllr Louise Jackson, portfolio holder for health and wellbeing, said: “Drop-in sessions make it easy to get vaccinated close to where you live, work or even while you are shopping.”
