Sandwich specialists want people with dough to join business

SANDWICH shop owner Subway wantd to double the number of stores it has in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire in the next five years.

The company is keen to open stores across the region and is particularly keen to find new franchisees in Luton and Bedford. There are currently 36 Subway stores across the three counties and there are plans in place to increase this to 72.

It could create 350 jobs for local people.

The firm’s development agents are responsible for growing the franchise in-line with consumer demand and heading up teams that offer support to franchisees on aspects such as site selection, leasing, purchasing and marketing.
