Oak Road can be key to Hatters competing with local rivals

Regularly opening up the Oak Road end to Hatters fans can help to rejuvenate and expand Town’s fanbase as they bid to compete against rival local clubs, writes Mark Wood.

Around 500 of the tickets against Hyde were given out to local children, and managing director Gary Sweet knows they must be proactive to safeguard Luton’s future.

He said: “We are fully aware of what other football clubs around us are doing with their tactics.”
