Have your say on the future of healthcare across Bedfordshire

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is giving people the chance to have their say on the future of healthcare across the county in a new survey.

The survey is part of the Your Voice, Our Future initiative, and will support the development of the trust’s strategy for the years ahead.

The trust says the results of the survey will shape the strategy and ensure it reflects the needs and experiences of local communities.

The short survey, which is open until November 23, asks people to share their experiences of hospital services, the challenges they face in accessing healthcare, and what they believe should be prioritised in the future.

As well as the survey, the trust says it is also seeking feedback from patients and carers, residents and community groups, voluntary and community organisations, local authorities, councillors and MPs, health and care partners, regulators and oversight bodies and trust members and governors.

The trust’s chief executive Pippa Nightingale said: “The best strategies are developed with the people who use our services, not simply for them.

“We want to hear directly from patients, carers, families and communities about what matters most to them.

“Whether you have recently used our services or simply want to help shape the future of healthcare locally, we would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their views.”

The survey can be accessed through this online form.
