Hatters draw Cheltenham at home in FA Cup

LUTON Town have been drawn at home to Cheltenham Town in the second round of the FA Cup.

The draw, which was made yesterday, paired Hatters with the League Two side, who have started the season superbly, and are currently third in the table, just six points behind leaders Southend United.

Hatters reached the next stage by beating Northampton Town 1-0 on Saturday, a result that has since seen Cobblers boss Gary Johnson leave his position at Sixfields.

Cheltenham earned a cup upset of their own with a 1-0 triumph at League One side Tranmere Rovers 1-0 courtesy of a Darryl Duffy penalty.

The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, December 3, meaning that Town’s Blue Square Bet Premier match at home to Stockport County will be rearranged.
