Franks plays as England C draw with Sparta Prague B
Hatters defender Fraser Franks played as England C drew 2-2 with Sparta Prague B in a friendly before Saturday’s International Challenge Trophy group opener in Slovakia.
The game was a behind-closed-doors training match as Forest Green Rovers’ forward Matty Taylor netted twice.
Speaking to the Non-League paper, boss Paul Fairclough said: “It was key for us to get out early, get some training in and use this game against Sparta for more fitness and to bed in a shape.

Hide Ad“I have to say I was delighted. We changed the shape in the last third of the game to a 4-4-2 from a 4-3-3 and there is lots of food for thought going into the big game against Slovakia.”
Saturday’s game kicks-off at 2pm GMT.
