Sainsbury's, B&M and Poundland in Bedford urgently recall food over nut allergy fears

Polish Specialities Ltd is recalling Knoppers Wafers because they contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.

The wafers, which come in a 25g pack, are also available from Amazon.

According to a statement from Trading Standards: "If you have bought the product and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat it.

"Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, this means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts."
