The village's council leader, Khader Alaraj, and the two university students will visit a whole host of university towns and cities, building links between Palestinian and UK students under the title Palestinian Voices Matter: Students Together 2020.

Events taking place in Bedford include a free public meeting on Sunday, February 2 at 6pm in the Friends Meeting House, in Lansdowne Road.

The students will give presentations about their lives under occupation.
