Saga over as Marshall returns to Grimsby

The wideman had been subject to a bid from Luton Town, and parent club Bury recalled him earlier in the week.

But the recall clause in the season-long loan is thought to be invalid – so Marshall is now back at Blundell Park for the rest of the season and is availble to play Cambridge United tomorrow.

After the news was announced, Marshall tweeted: “Thanks for all the tweets glad its sorted and its nice to feel welcome.”
