Hatters bag Boro right-back Henry

AMBITIOUS Hatters have swooped to sign former Stevenage captain Ronnie Henry on a two-year contract.

The attacking right-back is manager Paul Buckle’s fight signing as Town boss and Luton’s first new face of the summer.

Henry, 28, made made 40 appearances in League One last season as he helped Stevenage into the play-offs.

The Hemel-born defender was out of contract and turned down a string of Football League sides to sign for the Hatters.

He made 329 appearances for Boro to become their fourth highest appearance holder and helped them to two successive promotions, including a League Two play-Off final victory over Buckle’s Torquay side in 2009-10.
