Gray not looking to step up to the spot again after Rovers miss
Having already scored the opening goal, and with Town’s regular penalty taker Scott Rendell on the bench, Town’s 12-goal leading marksman was keen to take on the responsibility.
But Gray failed to even hit the target and conceded he might not be cut out to be a regular from the spot after taking and missing his first competitive penalty.

Hide AdThe 21-year-old forward said: “Our main penalty taker is Rens, but I was working on penalties after training yesterday for some reason.
“I felt confident I could take it but I think the pressure got to me a little bit.”
