Town striker Mark Cullen was delighted he will be part of a club on the up again after signing a new contract last week.

The 22-year-old forward, who joined Luton from Hull City in the summer, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.

He said: “Last season when I was out of contract at Hull it was a bit nervy for me and my family not knowing where we’d be going.

“So to get three years, the stability is pleasing and means we can settle down a bit more.

“It’s a club that’s on the up and I want to be a part of it, and at least for the next three years I’m signed up.”

On the pitch, Cullen admitted it had been difficult as he often played second fiddle to Andre Gray and Paul Benson, but still managed to finish with 10 goals.
