Beds squeeze past Oxfordshire
An unbeaten 68 from skipper Ben Slawinski (Ampthill) and fine support from Adit Shah (Luton Town & Indians) who hit 44 led Beds to 181-5 from their 40 overs, as James Barron (Harrold) also made 22.
Oxfordshire were always ahead of the run-rate in their reply and looked favourites at 116-3 from 26 overs until a superb spell from Ampthill bowler Ben Bradley. He took 3-12 from eight overs, while Barron also claimed three scalps and was backed up by some excellent fielding as Beds dismissed their opponents for 166 to win by 15 runs.
