Dawn Davis has set up a Facebook group with the aim of giving Captain Sir Tom Moore a farewell salute on the day of his funeral.

Although no date has as yet been revealed, she is hoping enough people will do a 100-second farewell salute for the 100-year-old war veteran who died this week.

She said: "I wanted to do something different from clapping. Please, on the day of his funeral, if everyone can do a 100-second salute and upload a picture to the Facebook group."
