Man badly hurt in collision

A teenager was badly injured when a car he was in ended up in a ditch in Shefford Road near Clifton last night (Sunday).

Magpas Doctor Zoe Smeed and Paramedic Simon Standen arrived via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW and assessed a man (in his late teens) who had suffered serious head injuries.

He was anaesthetised at the scene before being taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the man was in a serious but stable condition.
