Did you witness bar brawl which left two women injured?

Two women were left with injuries in a Bedford pub after a glass was thrown by a third woman.

The altercation in The Rose, High Street, left one woman needing hospital treatment for an eye injury and another with head injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place between 12.30am and 1.05am on Sunday, March 13, to come forward.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Surinder Ram said: “This was a busy bar and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to get in touch.

“It was a dangerous act that has caused injury to two people and will not be tolerated.”

22-year-old woman from Rushden was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed until April.
