B&M creates 100 jobs in Bedford for those who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus

B&M has created an additional 100 jobs at its depot in Bedford and will be giving priority to those candidates who have been laid off due to Covid19.
The discount retailer, which boasts a one million square foot warehouse in Wixams, will be hiring in order to meet strong demand.

Hide AdIn a statement from B&M, it confirmed in the past week it has served 7million customers and delivered more than 4.2million cases of grocery to stores across the country. With warehouses running 24/7 and good stocks being delivered to store on a daily basis.
Job roles are advertised on the B&M careers website and include picking, loading, unloading and FLT truck drivers within the modern distribution centre.
B&M CEO, Simon Arora, said: "We can imagine the hardship being faced by those who have lost their jobs due to Covid19, especially in the hospitality and travel industry. Whilst our business experiences high demand, we're pleased to offer immediate job opportunities to some of those affected."
