An academy in Bedford has confirmed there has been a positive case of Covid-19 within the school.

Goldington Academy, in Haylands Way, sent out a letter to parents yesterday (Monday, September 21) warning that Public Health England (PHE) has confirmed someone at the school tested positive for the virus.

Principal Francis Galbraith, who signed the letter, said: "We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with PHE. This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child.
