Uni plots expansion into Milton Keynes

University College Milton Keynes will open in September as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Bedfordshire.

At its heart will be a faculty of engineering and technology, which will be launched in September 2013.

Bill Rammell, who will take over a vice-chancellor of the University Of Bedfordshire in September, said: “By coincidence, I was the first visitor to the university centre while it was still under construction in 2008. I was thrilled to learn about the proposal. This is a hugely important development for the university and the people of Milton Keynes.”
