The freaks return with Circus of Horrors

The Circus of Horrors, making its third appearance at The Grove, has become a bit of a cult hit but it is not for the fainthearted and definitely not for children. This is X-rated stuff that will give youngsters nightmares so leave the little ones at home.
This group of freaks and acrobats have been touring for years but recently presented a cleaned up version of the show to great success on Britain’s Got Talent. Their lurid new show comes to The Waterside next Tuesday (17th) and The Grove on January 21 at 7.30pm.

Hide AdSet amid 1920s Berlin, MC Dr Haze brings his weird and wonderful Vampire Vaudeville show to town and it features a mesmerising new act - The Ventriloquist.
The show features all the usual hair-hanging beauties, twisted contortionists, flying aerialists, demon dwarfs, gyrating jugglers, voodoo warriors, pickled people and sword swallowers but this latest addition brings a macabre twist to the evening (think Chucky or, actually, any number of demonic dolls from the movies).
Inspired by evil ventriloquist movies like Devil Doll and The Dead of Night, the story will send shivers down the spine as a demonic dummy begins to take on a life of its own.
Those of us who have seen their previous performances at the venue know that you’re in for an unforgettable evening that will shock, appal and amaze.
