A new music festival taking place next month for the first time aims to put Bedfordshire firmly on the rock music map.
Fort Fest will be held in Thurleigh from September 2 to 4, featuring some of the UK’s top acts, including Young Guns, Lonely The Brave, InMe, The Xcerts, The Treatment, Arcane Roots and Black Peaks.
The event is being organised by The Fort Records. Co-director Jon Hewitt said: “We are delighted that we have been able to bring some of the UK’s top talent to Bedfordshire.
“In addition to some massive headliners, it is also giving an opportunity to showcase some of our excellent local bands.
“Our emphasis is on providing a top quality, spacious music festival, with excellent food and drink all at affordable prices.”
The festival is limited to 5000 people and is being held at Scald End organic farm in Thurleigh.
Adult ticket cost £65 for the whole weekend with free car parking and camping. One day and two day tickets are also available.
