Castle Comedy promises the ultimate laughter-filled Christmas night out with two party specials next week.

The Gordon Arms Ent Shed hosts the events on Thursday December 17 and Friday December 18, with cake, party poppers, chocolate Yule log, mince pies, crackers and prizes – as well as some popular comics.

French comedian Marcel Lucont headlines both shows. He has toured the world and won numerous awards, including the 2012 Amused Moose Award for the Best Comedy Show of the Edinburgh Fringe and the 2013 Fringe World Award for Best Comedy at the Perth Comedy Festival.

He is a regular performer on BBC3’s Live at the Electric and Sky Atlantic’s Set List as well as starring on Russell Howards Good News.

Opening the shows is Nick Page. Since he was fired from his presenting job on Escape to the Country he has gone on to be one of the best storytelling acts on the circuit.

The line-up is completed have local comedy talent in the shape of the sassy and saucy Erica Benning, a regular presenter on MKFM. The show will be held together by Castle Comedy regular Paul Revill.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the shows start at 8.15pm.
