Music lovers can attend an intimate performance by a Bedford singer-songwriter with a cult following tonight (Thursday).
Juliet Lawson will be performing tracks from her new album Love And The Older Woman, live at Coffee With Art in High Street.
Juliet first found fame in the early 1970s with her album Boo, which was critically acclaimed.
Since then, her career has been eventful, but she is still writing and performing in venues of the calibre of Ronnie Scott’s and most recently a took on a stage role putting Shakespeare’s words to music in Much Ado About Nothing.
Juilet’s music combines emotional lyrics and soulful ballads with a twist of jazz. Record Collector magazine has described her as “a distinctive and imaginative singer-songwriter”.
Juliet will be joined on the evening by her trio of Simon Little on double bass, Oli Savill on percussion and Christian Marsac on guitar,
