Tom Grennan has topped the UK’s Official Albums Chart with his new album Evering Road.

The countdown of this week's best-selling albums, as collated by the Official UK Charts Company, took place today on BBC Radio 1, with presenter Scott Mills revealing the new number one.

Released last week, Evering Road is the follow up to Grennan’s 2018 album Lighting Matches.

Grennan recently announced six performances across three days at Esquires in Bedford in August which he will play before heading out on a full UK tour later this year in September and October.

Following its release, he went onto play sold out headline shows while winning over thousands of fans with performances at major UK festivals including Reading & Leeds, Isle Of Wight, TRNSMT and Latitude and others.
