Game company Rockstar first announced at the E3 2014 event that the popular GTA 5 will be coming, bigger, better, badder and more beautiful than ever before on the next gen platforms later this year.

However, the game maker did not specify any date for the release.

Exciting news for next gen gamers but just how good it looks on better hardware is jaw-droppingly impressive.

Teasers online show the difference and just how much prettier the title will be.

But the announcement has not pleased everyone.

The quality of Rockstar’s next-gen Grand Theft Auto V teasers – as shown in this graphics comparison video above – have once again saddened Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima.

That’s because, as he previously confessed, he thinks the game is so good it makes others – including his own – look bad.

“What Rockstar has created and the world they have created is super impressive, and actually when I saw the PS4 version a few days ago I got depressed again,” the famed developer said.

“And this is not game design-related it’s just me. The quality that they showed in the PS4 trailer was really impressive.

“It’s a bit different (MGS) because Rockstar is going in a very different direction – with Metal Gear I’m trying to do a free infiltration game... the Rockstar team is the best.”
