5. Gardener's House in Silsoe
Hosted by English Heritage, this is of course in Wrest Park. Eight guests can rent out the entire cottage which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's arranged over three floors and even includes a fully fitted kitchen, a snug and a large patio area with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Now that is what I'm talking about. £204 a night Photo: Airbnb
Hosted by Dillon. This is how the other half lives. This castle in Hinwick can accommodate over 16 guests and boasts 18 bedrooms 11.5 bathrooms (11.5?). Built in 1710 and modelled on the original Buckingham Palace, this is luxury with a capital L. The place is so swanky, it was featured in Conde Nast Traveller and The Times, so maybe save up those shekels. £2,133 a night Photo: Airbnb
Hosted by Fiona, this is unbelievably cute. Situated on a slip road just off the A1, this cabin is nestled away surrounded by dairy pasture fields and the Begwary Brook nature reserve. It can accommodate up to five guests and has one bedroom, three beds and one bathroom. It even has its own garden and outside patio areas. £92 a night Photo: Airbnb
Hosted by Alison, this converted barn is just over the border into Hertfordshire. But get a load of that bedroom, complete with funky bath. There's a kitchen and your own private patio or balcony, depending on what part of the barm you stay in. £97 a night Photo: Airbnb
