PREVIEW: Esher v Ampthill


Ampthill begin the next phase of their rugby adventure with their first ever game in National One this afternoon when both the first and ‘1881’ squads visit Esher for 3pm kick offs.

Amps’ first match day squad of 2015 provides league debuts for prop Ralph Adams-Hale, flanker Matthew Howling and centre Elliott Reeder while prop Billy Walker, hooker James Fish, flanker Brian Tuilagi and fly half Will Maisey will likely make theirs from the bench.

Esher, originally formed in 1923 and reformed after World War Two were in the Championship as recently as 2012, and represent a very tough challenge for newly promoted A’s, as they finished 10th in the table last season.
