Having gotten their season off to the best possible start, Bedford Blues will be looking to build on their opening round win when Moseley pay a visit to Goldington Road on Saturday afternoon.
Bedford Director of Rugby Mike Rayer has been forced into a number of changes to the squad that beat Bristol at Ashton Gate last Sunday with Jordan Burns and Sam Blanchet both getting starting debuts while Nick Fenton-Wells, Harry Wells, Tom Williams and Ollie Dodge all making their first starts of the season.
Looking ahead to the game, Blues forwards coach Martin Hynes said: “Last week’s result was put to bed pretty quickly as we know each week in the Championship there are different challenges that you face.
“Moseley themselves got off to a great start with a hard fought win over London Scottish and they will be confident that they can come to Goldington Road and pick us off. We know that our preparation and application has to be spot on to ensure we build on the start we’ve had.
“We’ve had some tough battles with Moseley over the years, but this weekend’s could be the biggest yet.”
