Players of all ages and abilities are welcome to the inaugural ‘pre-season’ rugby camp at Bedford’s Goldington Road in August.
The Bedford Blues Community Rugby Department has organised the camp to be held over three days.
Boys and girls will be able to train as professional rugby players while also being put through their paces with a variety of drills including core skills, evasion tactics and fun-packed games.
It will all be under the close tutelage of experienced players and coaches.
The rugby camp will take place between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday, August 23, Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 with the sessions costing £50 for all three days, or a single day for £20.
Bedford Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: “I’m thrilled that we are able to offer such a fantastic and unique rugby experience for youngsters in and around Bedford.
“We have a number of talented coaches as well as Bedford Blues players who will be on-hand to share their knowledge of the game during a number of fun-filled sessions and this will be the perfect kick-off to our Community Rugby Department.”

>> The British & Irish Cup fixtures have been announced with Bedford Blues drawn in Pool 5 against fellow Championship sides Yorkshire Carnegie and Ealing Trailfinders as well as the Dragons Premiership Select side.
Rayer said: “Once again we’ve been given a tough Pool in the B&I Cup and we are facing a huge task in our quest to get to the quarter-finals.
“This however is the type of challenge we enjoy as a club because we have always embraced this competition and thoroughly look forward each year to seeing who we get pitched up against.”
The Blues will open their account at home to the Dragons Select Side on October 15 – it will also be Ladies Day.
