Four-midable Amps battle back in style to flatten Fylde
The Amps squad saw James Fish return to the starting line-up at hooker, with Kennet O’Neill moving to lock and Matthew Burke returning at openside.
The backs saw William Goodge and William Maisey start in the centre, with Connor Bullivant returning on the wing, while Viliami Ma’asi rotated to the bench where he was joined by Elliot Reeder, Jonathan Morgan and debutante William Evens.

Hide AdA’s trailed 12-7 at the break but outscored their hosts by four tries to one in the second half to secure their fourth consecutive victory.
The bonus point win saw the visitors climb two places to fourth in National 1 with seven games to play.
“We defended well”, said Ampthill head coach Paul Turner. “And we were smart when we had the ball.
“When we were 19-17 behind we could have been in danger, but we got our game together and looked after the ball to score three more tries.”

Head coach Paul Turner added: “It was a good team performance with Bullivant doing well on the wing, and first rate ground work, tackling and support play from Evans who capped his debut with a try.
“Last week securing the win required some good fortune, this week our application paid off. To come up to a place like this and get a result would have unbelievable a couple of years ago, so we are very pleased with a great win.”
