Wixams Wanderers Diamonds are champions at last!

The Wixams Wanderers Diamonds clinched the Under 14’s league title in an exciting end to the season, winning their last game to be crowned Bedfordshire FA Division 1 champions for 2020-21.

Last season the Diamonds managed to go 19 games unbeaten and were on their way to a league cup semi final and a first league title when the season was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 with just two games left to play.

This was devastating for the team and bouncing back to win it again officially this season in what has been a very competitive league has been a great achievement and something they will go on to remember for years to come.

The Diamonds were formed as a part of Wixams Wanderers Football Club in 2015 by Stuart Falconer and Gary Cockcroft who started with just six players and have since been able to develop this team into a successful and talented group of young ladies.
