AFC Kempston Rovers completed the double over Sleaford and extended their superb run of form with a 2-0 victory in the United Counties League Premier Division on Saturday.

A defensive mix-up gifted the Walnut Boys the opening goal on 19 minutes when Pascal Johnson put through his own net after a misunderstanding with keeper Matt Burks, before Manny Richardson sealed victory with his penalty two minutes into the second half.

AFC host Long Buckby AFC in the League Knockout Cup on Tuesday, go to Harborough Town in the league on Saturday and visit Barton Rovers in the quarter-finals of the North Beds Charity Cup on Tuesday week.
