Real Bedford beat Kettering to storm into play-off final as they chase fourth promotion in a row
Real Bedford stormed past Kettering Town 3-1 in last night's semi-final to book a Southern League Premier Central play-off final at Spalding United on Monday and stay on course for an incredible fourth successive promotion.
Before a bumper crowd of 1,593, Josh Setchell gave Pirates the perfect start as he caught onto a rebounded shot and scored in the very first minute.

Four minutes after the break Conor Tee headed home a Setchell cross to double that advantage before Josh Allen had a penalty saved on 62 minutes.
Alarm bells sounded seven minutes later as Eddie Panter pulled one back for the Poppies, but on 76 minutes Sam Cartwright managed to guide the ball home while on the floor for a scruffy but crucial third to seal it for for Real.
Pirates now prepare to face Spalding in the final at Sir Halley Stewart Field on Monday (3pm).
This fixture will not be segregated, and with tickets limited, supporters are strongly encouraged to secure theirs as soon as possible.
This is an all ticket match and supporters are asked to purchase the away supporters tickets, priced Adult £14, Concession £9 and U18s £5.
On the day, there will be a live DJ, a beer tent, and a range of food options available, setting the stage for a fantastic occasion.
Official coaches will be running to the final, departing from the Ledger Stadium at noon and returning shortly after the game.
Tickets are £20 for adults and £10 for children. Spaces are limited, so book early.
